About EGT

 EGT is an elite girls training facility that wants to increase the number of girls involved in

football and create the best possible opportunity to learn and improve their footballing

ability.

We believe that to increase the number of girls in football they must feel comfortable

in the environment, and this can be achieved by providing a platform where girls train

all together with quality coaching.

Currently there are not enough clubs which provide academy style training sessions

dedicated to producing elite women professionals.


From September 2022, we will be providing girls only training sessions as a 

Development / Elite Programme aimed at all levels of ability, which will be coached by FA qualified coaches.

These sessions will be formulated to work on all aspects of the players game with

group and 1-1 options.


We will provide 1 and  a half hours a week of quality football coaching for girls who are aged

between  9 - 16 years old.


EGT have experienced coaches FA qualified coaches capable of delivering

top quality and advanced training sessions to children from beginners to elite level

giving children the best possible opportunity to learn and improve their footballing ability.


All players will be training once a week and will have a 6 week report of their Progress

depending on attendance.

There will be opportunities to compete in highly competitive tournaments and non-competitive

matches linked with professional clubs depending on age groups, these will not affect their

current grassroots teams schedule.

SIMON'S PET CARE

Simon's pet care is a local run company who serves the Thatcham and surrounding area. Their services range from House sitting to dog walking and any services for animals in between. They wanted to sponsor us as Simon has 2 daughters with  one who plays football herself. So was very keen to be a part of it.

Our Coaches

Simon Allen (Manager and Head Coach) Owner

Simon has been around football since a very young age. He used to play for some local grassroots teams. Finishing top scorer in the league 3 years running. He holds an FA level 1, FA safeguarding, FA First aid and an EE playmaker FA qualifications. Simon also is a manager of a EasyEasy local u13’s girls football team. Simon has a very wide range of football knowledge. He is highly regarded by both other coaches and the girls he trains.  

Ashley Lyford (Assistant Manager and Coach)

Ashley is a FA qualified coach having passed his EE playmaker course. Ashley also is first aid trained and has years of coaching experience. Ashley is a coach for a local u13’s girls team, where he is well respected and is loved By everyone. His knowledge in football will only benefit any girls he trains. He is very highly regarded in Local grassroots football and starting to make a name for his self. 

Luke (Coach)

Luke has been in football since a child. He is a coach of a local grassroots girls football team. Luke has a very good knowledge of football. As the saying goes football runs through his veins. Luke who has Fa level 1 in football coaching and all safeguarding and first aid Fa qualifications. He is very liked and highly regarded by lots in grassroots football.
